Our team returned to San Francisco to attend the latest Y Combinator Demo Day. From the nearly 200 companies that presented, we selected six new investments from the batch. Across all YC-backed companies, about 6% have gone on to reach valuations above $1B.

Each cohort deepens our relationship with the YC ecosystem and strengthens our access to the founders building the next wave of applied AI and infrastructure before broader market attention follows.

Our latest additions from this batch reflect two themes.

AI agents executing institutional workflows:

Fenrock AI is building agents for financial crime compliance that automate transaction monitoring, anomaly detection, and regulatory reporting while generating audit-ready documentation. Perfectly is rethinking recruiting with an AI-native agency that delivers interview-ready candidates directly into hiring workflows. Proximitty deploys autonomous agents for loan servicing and collections, improving recovery outcomes inside a system where legacy agencies often recover less than 10% of delinquent debt. Vela acts as an AI scheduling assistant that manages complex coordination across organizations and communication channels while adapting to user preferences over time.

Together, these companies reflect a shift from assistants that suggest work to agents that execute it inside regulated and coordination-heavy environments.

Infrastructure for defense and space capability:

Kyten Technologies supplies custom-qualified aerospace battery packs in weeks rather than months, helping address a growing bottleneck across drones, submarines, and satellite systems. GRU Space is building permanent lunar infrastructure using technology that converts lunar material into structural components for habitats and future off-world construction.

These companies support the physical systems that expand aerospace capability and enable the next phase of space infrastructure.

What ties these companies together is a shared focus on solving operational problems inside large, complex environments. Each team brings technical depth and a clear path to adoption across industries where automation and infrastructure improvements create immediate impact.
